At Delta Sigma Pi, one of our core values is leadership—we seek to equip our members to be leaders in their professional fields and communities, and to strengthen their leadership skills throughout their careers.

There are so many opportunities for building leadership skills in Delta Sigma Pi, both for collegiate and alumni members. Many events—including local chapter meetings, regional conferences, and Grand Chapter Congress—include talks, roundtable discussions, and break-out sessions around the theme of building leadership. Chapter involvement at all levels builds this critical skill.

In addition, you can:
  • Hold a leadership position in Delta Sigma Pi. At the national level or with your local chapter, opportunities for hands-on leadership experience abound at Delta Sigma Pi.
  • Become a Certified Deltasig Leader. Our CDL training is great preparation for alumni interested in holding Fraternity office, and also applicable to real life professional situations.
  • Volunteer with a local chapter. There are plenty of ways to volunteer with Delta Sigma Pi. Serving as District Director for a collegiate chapter, serving on a chapter committee, or getting involved in service events are all great ways to build leadership skills.
  • Get involved with LEAD events. Our LEAD program is an effective way to build leadership experience that makes a difference in your chapter, your work, and your community.
  • Support chapters at a strategic level through gifts to the Delta Sigma Pi Leadership Foundation. With many options for involvement through the Foundation, you can choose manageable monthly giving options by being a Deltasig For Life Donor (DFLD), or you can choose a specific chapter to support by donating to their Chapter Leadership Fund (CLF).
Get involved with your Delta Sigma Pi chapter to build leadership skills and experience you can use throughout your career.
