Getting Started Be sure to check out the Chapter Locator to see if an alumni chapter or alumni contact currently exists in your area. If an alumni chapter or alumni contact currently does exist, please feel free to contact that person. If no one is listed, contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it about being listed as the contact person for your area. Alumni Chapters shall be called after the locality in which they are situated. No Alumni Chapter shall include the Greek letter designation of any Collegiate Chapter in its name and no Alumni Chapter shall restrict or limit its membership to alumni of any specific Collegiate Chapter or Chapters. All alumni chapters must be individually registered and recognized by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Please contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. If not, the chapter will need to apply for an EIN/TIN with the IRS by filing a Form SS-4. Please contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Once the chapter has received its EIN from the IRS, it should be reported to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Start Recruiting Obtain a radius report by emailing This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it with a brief description of how you will intend to use the contact information from Central Office. Send an email out to members on the list announcing that you are trying to start an alumni chapter. You might also mail out letters to all members on the list to help build interest. Visit local collegiate chapters to encourage them to join once they graduate. Find local members through Delta Sigma Pi Social Networking. Hold monthly events, starting with an organizational meeting. Requirements for Alumni Chapters
